Ultimately the gallery will celebrate a dozen women characters from works by Ibsen, Chekhov, Dostoyevsky, Williams and others along with outstanding artists, dancers and thinkers. The portraits are meant to provoke, intrigue and delight the viewer, believing that a good photo is worth thousands of words.
