MODULE SIX

Creating lesson plans to accompany a database activity.

Once you have thought up and designed a database which is related to one of your most important curriculum questions, how will you engage your students in using this database? Create a unit plan now in your word processing program which outlines the activities which you will offer your students.

Should the students gather the data to be placed in the database as part of the experiment, or will you provide the data set? How many class periods will this activity require? Will students work in teams? How will you make certain they keep their minds on the important curriculum question?
