The End of the Line

A Photographic Poem

Freight train
Freight train
You ain't goin no where . . .
Freight train
Freight train
You ain't goin no more . . .
Goin so fast ?
There's no use in hurryin . . .
No sense in snortin . . .
No rushin round hot and bothered . . .
Cause this is the end . . .
This is the end of the line . . .
And there ain't no more track . . .
There ain't no place to go no more . . .
Jus the end of the line . . .
End of the line . . .
That's all.

These photographs were shot with a Epson PhotoPC digital camera. The location is the shore of Bellingham Bay in Washington, once the site of the largest salmon canning operation in the world.
